OUR SEVEN CORE VALUES

These values are not aspirational — they describe who we are already becoming and the culture we are committed to building together.

ABIDE IN CHRIST

Everything we do starts here. Before strategy, before programs — there is the simple, daily practice of staying close to Jesus. The question isn't "how much can I produce for the Kingdom?" — it's "how well am I walking with the King?" A disciple who isn't abiding will eventually run on empty.

REACH THE LOST

In a rapidly growing community full of young families, new neighbors are moving in every week — many spiritually curious, some far from God. Reaching people isn't a campaign. It's woven into who we are. Someone's first step toward Jesus isn't the finish line. It's the starting line.

CONNECT THE UNCONNECTED

Sitting in a Sunday service and being part of a church are not the same thing. Real life change happens in real relationships — around dinner tables, in living rooms, in Life Groups where people know your name and your story. Connection to God and connection to people fuel each other.

CHASE STRAYS

Life gets busy and it's easy to quietly drift. The easiest thing is to assume someone will find their way back. We don't believe that's good enough. Jesus left the ninety-nine to go after the one. Whether someone has missed their Life Group or fallen off the radar — someone at Northlake notices.

SHEPHERD TOWARD SPIRITUAL MATURITY

We're not content with people being spiritually stuck. Every believer has more capacity for growth than they've yet discovered. Shepherding means we stay alongside people, ask the hard questions, and gently challenge them to keep moving — from Stands to Sideline to Field to Coach.

RELEASE LEADERS

One of the clearest signs of a healthy discipleship culture is that it keeps producing new leaders. The people sitting in our Life Groups today are the leaders of tomorrow. Our job is to develop people until they're ready to do ministry themselves — then release them. A church that releases leaders multiplies.

FUNCTION AS A TEAM

Northlake is not a one-person show. We are most effective when genuinely unified — committed to the same mission, trusting each other, communicating openly, and celebrating each other's wins. Unity isn't just a nice ideal; it's a strategic advantage. When our team is healthy, our church is healthy.
