People have so many reasons for not getting married but continuing a relationship. We can describe those reasons by reducing them to their lowest common denominator: "My love for you hasn't reached marriage level." Saying that out loud would likely end the relationship and so mask it with more socially acceptable explanations. Ultimately fear is the driver in our lack of commitment. Is this really the best way to live in relationship with a baby-mama or baby-daddy or a never ending "situationship"? Unpack with me the commitment that defines a relationship that is aligned with how God designed marriage to be.
