Have you ever thought you knew how to do something only for a professional to come along and you see the RIGHT way to do it? I'll spare you the stories, but this is exactly why I don't do plumbing. This analogy directly applies to our spiritual life. Before Jesus we thought we knew how to live life. Many people try and merge the way of Jesus with they way they have always lived and since it doesn't work they get discouraged and quit. To live the way of Jesus means we need to burn the ship back to what we used to know. Come find out what that means this Sunday!
