Week #24, July 2, 2023

It is very common for Christians and whole churches to get distracted from our personal and cooperative dependence on the good news of Jesus. That is: His death and resurrection for me/us because He is the only one who can provide what we need. As Acts 17:28 says - "... in Him we live and move and have our being..."  

So what are the dangers of shifting our focus to something else?  Power, politics, fame, preferences, or any number of other small religious issues?  That is where Paul wants to take us this Sunday.  Join me as we unpack staying rooted to what is foundational and how this ensures our focus stays on Jesus.
