Jesus way of making disciples was relational. He spent significant amounts of time with people. I recently read a profound statement that continues to rattle around in my head and reinforces what we see with Jesus: "The purest and most genuine form of generosity is attention." In our independent American way of life and with the seemingly constant notification dings begging for us to be distracted from presence and focused attention... what does it look like for followers of Jesus to have a lifestyle of together(ness)?

This Sunday I hope to unpack this question and examine how the Bible leads us to live a different pattern in our life. Join me as we pursue living as disciple makers in week 2 of "Walk This Way"!
