Some of our most memorable and great stories, is that of the underdog who overcomes great odds, or the oppressed nobody who sticks it to the evil corporation or person. Which you may now feel is a weird transition to the Christmas season. Yet the Christmas season as we have become used to celebrating it, is pretty far from the dramatic life-changing event of Jesus arrival and what it meant to those living in the first century.

This Sunday jump into Christmas with me as we discover the revolutionary nature of Jesus birth as presented by Luke that begs us to answer a question: "Whose empire are you building?"
