Young Adult Ministry (post high school to twenty-something)
Northlake’s Young Adult Ministry (YAM) focuses on the spiritual growth and discipleship of adults during their post-high school years, through their late 20s. Our chief goals are these: That each young adult would become rooted and confident in their identity in Christ, so that they would share the Good News with others; and that each young adult would see how vital they are to the church body. We do this by meeting in our group, modeled closely by how Jesus taught His disciples. We learn together, serve together, play together, pray together, and oh, yes…eat together in this group.
YAM meets twice monthly, on the first and third Wednesdays at 6 pm. Generally, we meet for dinner, followed by discussion. We rotate locations—which we apprise by text and Facebook. During the summer months, we will not meet regularly; however, we will do at least one casual, fun event per month in June, July, and August.
